| ABOUT RHM TECHNOLOGY |
| |
|
| OUR HISTORY |
| RHM Technology now operates at the heart of Premier Foods, the UK’s leading food producer. |
| Initially conceived as the research, development and testing centre for the RHM Group (formerly known as Ranks Hovis McDougall and acquired by Premier Foods in March 2007), Lord Rank established the company at High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire in 1963 under the original name of "RHM Research". |
| The name was changed to "RHM Research and Engineering"
but it was finally agreed that "RHM Technology" more appropriately
conveyed the scope of services available. |
 |
| The expertise available in many specialist areas was very quickly recognised by all sectors of the Food Industry. Demand rapidly grew from organisations outside the parent company for our services in these specialist areas. |
| RHM Technology has now developed into one of the most respected food technology centres in Europe by providing these specialist services, on a strictly confidential basis, to clients both within and outside Premier Foods. |

the right staff for the job and then helping them to develop, on an
ongoing basis, to meet the needs of both the business and the staff
themselves by: |
- providing "on the job" training and opportunities
to attend external training courses as required
- sponsoring qualifications such as PhDs, degrees and NVQs
- operating a parallel promotion system (the Research Associate
System) for scientists who want to pursue a scientific career
